yea.. it was definitely a memorable night of fun and laughter yesterday. Celebrated my beloved ah gong's 79th birthday at a restaurant in Downtown East. Got to chat with some of my aunties and cousins whom i seldom get to see; and not forgetting to play with those small little cousins of mine too. Smiles.
Ah gong has always been a man that i respect the most. I can never forget the days when he would bring me to the nearby provision shop and let me chose my favourite titbits and candies; or waiting for his return from a long tiring day of taxi driving, hugged his leg just to see him taking out my favourite pocky from his pocket. The care and concern he had showered me when i was babysitted by ah ma back then deeply touched my heart.
