Hi everyone~! I'm back again! I'm not sure if anyone will still view my blog since i haven't been blogging for such a longg time. Hehe. But anyway, i'll still blog since i treat this as a sort of diary for myself. I was really so so busy during the past few months that i couldn't make time for blogging.
(as i always have to spend a couple of hours just on blogging)Well, the UOL exams was just over for me on thursday
- finally; whew. A nightmare is what i can think of to describe how i overcame my past two months. Had 6-hours UOL revision workshops per day for all my April weekends (both Sats & Suns), not including the 3-hours lessons during weekday evenings for local revisions for 4 days per week during the last 2 weeks of April. It was really a Crazy schedule for me. Seriously mentally and physically tiring for me as i had to travel from East all the way to West just to attend the lessons. Took me almost 4 hours to travel to and fro the school each day. The worst thing was, my exams were during the first three weeks of May and i had 2 papers falling on one day out of my 4 papers and another paper the next morning!
Made my best attempt to do thorough revisions and memorizing during the last 5 days by imprisoning myself at home; spending almost 14 hours studying each day. Don't you think it's really Crazy?! I felt like dying of stress during those days as the coverage for the papers were really too wide. Haix.. let's pray hard for me that i'll pass my exams.
Anyway, let's put the sad stuff aside. Happy memories now!
The first good news that i wanted to share was i finally went Korea with my family during March!! =D
It's been like almost 11 years since the last time we had an overseas trip together. (not counting Malaysia~) Our last trip was China and i was only 13 then. Furthermore, this year is my parents' 25th wedding anniversary! This was one of the main reasons why we decided to spend for a family trip.
Overall, the whole trip experience was really great with my aunts/uncles and best cousins!! Due to climate changes, it was snowing heavily during one of the days we were there as we encountered cold wave on the first day we reached there. This wasn't supposed to be happening as late march should be early spring for Korea. Anyway, the whole experience was filled with happiness
plus chilling coldness~~ and our first ever snowman in Everland! =)
We wore raincoat cos it was still snowing!ASA's tour itineries were really worthwhile compared to other tour agencies. Not only the sightseeing was great, the food they provided was superb as well. If anyone has plans to visit Korea and would like to go for lots of sightseeing, i would suggest if you can give ASA a thought. Going for a free and easy trip with sightseeing around in Korea yourself will definitely cost you a bomb as the transport and accommodation there are quite expensive. However, the only drawback with tour groups is that there wouldn't be much time for shopping. Like for mine, we only had 3 and half hours of shopping for the whole 8 days trip!! This really upsets me as well as my cousins!! =(
However, i still managed to get some stuff within that time frame in Dongdaemun and Sinchon Fashion Street. I really Lovee Sinchon so much as there are stretches and stretches of small street shops selling cheap and nice clothes/shoes/bags/accessories/cosmetics/skin care products; everything that a girl wants! If i were to go Korea again (
free and easy one), i'll definitely include Sinchon in my plans.

-And all the souvenirs and some skin care products!-They're really so much cheaper than in Singapore!
I bought 50 pieces of facial masks, 2 tubes of body cream, few nail polishes and 2 tubes of facial wash from The Face Shop. And they all costed about only one third of the prices in Singapore! Gosh! I should have gotten more! I also bought 2 tubs of Laneige water sleeping mask and sunblock lotion as they were also much cheaper, and 2 bottles of water essence and peeling gel from Lady&Skin
(it's a new brand in Korea i think; couldn't find any reviews on the web about this brand). I'm using the water essence now and it absorbs into the skin really fast and won't cause stickiness at all. It is said to have contained ginseng powder; but dunno whether it's true or not. Quite a good product anyway. =)
Had a great time shopping in Orchard yesterday to relieve all the exam stress and work stress. Will blog again (hopefully next week) about my craze on cosmetics now! haha!
Tomorrow is Monday again. =(
